Stories and highlights

There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Year 6 Transition Week

In December, our Year 6 students participate in an exciting High School Transition Week designed to support and prepare them for the next stage of their learning journey. Students experience a range of lessons across subjects including History, English, PDHPE (practical and theory), Visual Arts, Food Technology, Music, Korean language, Legal Studies, Human Sciences, Society and Culture, and Wellbeing. Teachers from across the school deliver each session, with students moving between rooms to mirror the structure and pace of a typical high school timetable.

Kindergarten Orientation

Every year, we are delighted to welcome our Kindergarten students to their orientation session. The children move confidently into the Kindy Maker Space for an hour of transition activities. They begin with purposeful play to help them settle into their new environemnt and proudly walk out with drawings to share with their parents. While the children explore the learning space, parents participate in a guided tour of the school. The visit key areas including EBASCA, uniform shop, Kindergarten and Year 1 learning spaces, the playgrounds, canteen and the main and office buildings. The tour provides parents with the opportunity to ask questions, understand our routines, and connect with one another as they prepare for their child’s start to school.
