Parent Online Payment (POP)

WHAT IS POP?

POP is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to ensure that your credit/debit details are captured in a secure manner.  These details are not passed back to the school and are not stored by Westpac.

Parents and Carers can make online payments for term accounts via our school website.  Payments can be made using a Visa or Mastercard and will be processed via a secure payment page hosted by Westpac.  Debit cards are also accepted. 

Please note: the website will not tell you how much you owe so please have your term account handy when paying.

The advantages of POP are:

  • Secure payments – no more sending your credit card details to school
  • Parents can print their own receipt or have it emailed to them for record keeping – no more searching in the school bag!

When you make an online payment you must enter the child's name and date of birth, plus the child's class.  This allows us to identify your child – ie we have some students with exactly the same name. No reference numbers are required - they are not mandatory fields.  These details are entered each time you make a payment as student information is NOT held within the payment system.  No student's details are given to Westpac.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Parent's and Carers can make online payments for term accounts via our school website. 

To access this facility, you must have an email address.  The payment page is accessed from the front page of our school website. http://www.epping-p.schools.nsw.edu.au

Go to the "Make a Payment" tab which is located next to the search bar in the same row as the "Newsletter" tab.

The items with the * Green asterisk are mandatory and they enable us to identify your child.  Under the payment options, you enter the activity or item for which you are paying.

If you are paying your whole term account, please click "other" and write "Term Account" in the description and the total amount of your account.

If you are making a voluntary contribution payment, please click the Voluntary School Contribution box.

If you are not paying the whole term account, please categorise payments under the categories listed ie excursions, sport etc.  Please note the system can only accept 5 lines per category.  If you have more than 5 excursions for example, you can categorise the rest in other.

Don't worry too much about how you categorise your payments.  We will be sent a report with your child's details and the details you have entered.  We then manually allocate funds against each excursion/activity.  If in doubt, choose "other" and enter the total amount you are paying.   If we are unsure of what you are paying for we will allocate funds against excursions/activities first, followed by Educational Resources, then Voluntary Contributions.

Please remember to print or have your receipt emailed to your email address as an additional receipt will not be issued by the school. The school does not require a copy of your receipt, as we are sent a daily report of transactions.
