Learning From Home

Learning From Home

We continue to encourage all students, staff and families to follow NSW Health’s advice to reduce the risk of not only COVID-19, but also other illnesses that may affect schools this winter such as the flu. Please remember:

  • Stay home if unwell or showing even the mildest of symptoms - online learning from home options for students are available here
  • Get tested immediately for COVID-19 if you become symptomatic and isolate until you receive a negative result and are symptom free - RATs will be distributed to families to support with symptomatic testing
  • All students, staff and visitors are strongly encouraged to wear a mask indoors (particularly in the first 4 weeks of term)
  • Staff and students identified as close contacts can attend school providing they are symptom free, notify the school and return a negative COVID-19 test result daily for 5 consecutive school days
  • Keep up to date with vaccinations – including COVID-19 booster shots when eligible and the flu vaccine, which is available from your local GP or pharmacy
  • Practice good hand hygiene by washing regularly with soap and water
  • Take a RAT before visiting vulnerable loved ones or going to large gatherings and events

We appreciate everyone’s support in keeping everyone safe and feeling well at school.
